For the 2008 limited edition, Lalique is once more using the representation and appealing idea of the mascots introduced in 1997 fot the men's perfume flacons. The figure of Bouddha , which first came from India, then spread throughout Asia, incarnates above all serenity and the values of wisdom. Worked in frosted glass the Bouddha is seated in a meditating position, with eyes closed in an attitude conducive to reflection. The Bouddha is in frosted crystal and forms the stopper of the flacon by means of a brushed aluminium ring. The base of the new flacon is flat, providing a solid base anchored in a highly masculine shape. The perfume is the first Lalique for men "Le Lion" A typically masculine fragrance with fresh, woody, amber-based tones.
